The Governor of the Cayman Islands officially opened the
Links At SafeHaven on April 8th, 1994. It is the Island's first and only
championship 18-hole course. The course was designed by Roy Case of Case
Golf Co., and constructed by Gregori International. It is a Par 71
course, 6,605 yards long from the Championship tees, and with strong
prevailing winds blowing across the course most of the time, this equals
over 7,000 yards in calm conditions.
There are five tee placements at every hole, so that the
course offers the golfer great variety and interest, and provides a
challenge for the best professional golfer, especially the par 3,235
yard, 11th hole, the Links Signature hole.
Ample practice facilities are adjacent to the club house
and include a unique aqua driving range, two putting greens and a
chipping and bunker practice areas. The clubhouse has a golf shop,
restaurant, patio bar and locker rooms with showers.
